Default Not Sure What I Have ????

I am hunting some new propertiy and we have trapped 3 hogs bout 150 boar,120 Sowe, and 80 lbs sowe. The other day i had a trail cam pic of bout a 200lbs boar eating my deer corn but he was alone had several pics of him but i thought it was strange that he was alone is that normal or what? Thanks new to pig hunting

That's not strange at all, I've seen a lot of single boars running around, as well as a sow with piglets.

I've also seen a lot of loners. It's pretty common.

Yeah, the boars don't normally mingle with the sounders unless there's a sow in heat. They mostly wander alone.

your older boars travel alone to get away from the piglets and sows. although it rare to see but sometimes you will get a piglet hanging around a boar that has only just left the pack.

lone boars are the norm sometimes, you will see all sizes if there is a large food source or a sow in heat.
