Looking for place to hog hunt in San Antonio Texas

Hello, I just finished school so a friend and I are planning on a road trip from southern ca to San Antonio Texas. I am hell bent on a chance at a hog, which will be the first big game animal I've taken. (Born and raised in the city)

Does anyone know of a reputable place I can bow/rifle hunt in or around San Antonio area. I have found many places, but I am sort of skeptical on what "I hear". I was hoping I can get some good recommendations. Thank you

I would use a search engine. There are lots of hogs in that area. I've been gone from there too long to recommend anything.

If you are solely going to use a bow I recommend Boazmans Quatro B Ranch or Keith Johns. Either will offer plenty of shots at hogs. Take a look at Texasbowhunters.com and ask around, someone will have you on hogs in no time.
