Default Looking for place to hunt Hogs

Hey, guys Im new to this forum but I thought I'd post here since it was relevant to the title. I just got transfered from TN to Jackson, Ms. So I'm bad displaced on my hunting areas. I was wondering if anyone had a better idea for hunting hogs than on public land for this area. I also need to find a place to turkey hunt. If anyone knows of anything I'd greatly appreciate the advice.

As my father always said,"If hunting was easy....then they'd have a hot blonde doing it." I think this is true because my girlfriend refuses to hunt. AH HA!

I know there is some good turkey hunting around Oxford,
Ms. I wen tto school at Ole Miss and did quite a bit of turkey and deer hunting around there. That was about three years ago. Check into the public land around there.

You might start by asking some of the local farmers if they have any hog problems. If they do, they might be incline to let you help keep their numbers down.

Well, around Jackson, at least what Ive seen the only things they grow here are pine trees. haha. But you are right. I was thinking about looking for landowners around the Natchez Trace that have problems. Ive heard that in this part of the state hogs are quite prominent around the Trace. Thanks for the advice.
