Little late posting these. This was from last friday nite. I had 3 buddies come down from Kentucky for a gator hunt. They got here around 1 in the afternoon. We all decided that maybe a little hog hunt before dark would be a good before going gator hunting after dark. The hogs weren't moving at all but Alan comes though again we had just stepped out of the blind looked back at the feeder and there stands a little sow. She didn't live long after Alan saw her and she sure did taste good a couple of days later.
So we hurried up cut her up put her in the cooler and headed for the lake for are gator hunt. Now these guys were on there first gator hunt and ready to shoot the first one we came across. We passed on proably 30 gators that were a little to small I thought. Then they explained to me that they weren't after a trophy. They wanted around 6 footers as they were all going to get full body mounts. So we hunted the first 6 hours Looking for a trophy when all they really wanted were 3 that we killed in about 40 min. Just think we could of done that early and been home by 10 o'clock
