Ten days and $3000.00 in mid January to hunt. I like big heads for the wall, any sugestions?
Dont mind any weather condition or accomodation but will not shoot in some small pen.
I like hill or mountain country but doesnt have to be, the wilder the better.

Winter coat bison or monster sized European wild boar sounds good but could be some antlered critter thats worth the wall space. I dont care about the meat, cant take it when I go back overseas.

Go the Buffalo route. Or big hogs. Plenty of those in Florida and their are even some Buffalo places here. 3k will cover that with change to spare. The weather is a little nasty and sometimes gets below 70 degrees so you might have to wear a long sleeve shirt but what the heck.
Haha Snook, im trough with shortsleeve, I am on assignment in South East Asia. I want some badass snow pilled up my head, frosnip and frozen buggers like back in the good ol' days.

Sounds like buffalo I think, put that 375 H&H to good use. Mhhhmm I can smell that mule kicking my shoulder kaboom from a Ruger no. 1, one shot and ton worth of buffalo goes to Valhalla. I will reinforce my study wall for that one taxidermy job.

Audad, mouflan, axis, fallow any exotic hunt in the Texas hill country region....Personally, I think the axis make an awesome mount, especially if you get a36+"animal....Good luck on your endeavor...
