Hi everybody, I'm new in California, I moved from Europe. I'm wondering if somebody can give me an advice, where can I findwild pigs in California (I live inEast Bay) on a public land? Are there some places? Or are all the pigs are on the private land, and you have to payfor huntingthem?
Thank you for your help,I really appreciate it.
Bohous
ps: I hunt with Bow
Bo - for public land go get a BLM map and look for land along the coast (everything west of 80 and I5). In CA only 1% of all hogs taken are on public land, very low success rate. There are some hogs around Lake Sonoman and they allow archery only hunting around the lake in oct - feb. i believe (check out army engineers site for exact dates), but your best bet for boar in CA is private ranches. most hunts for a pig are around $500 or so.

took the words right out of my fingers. Make friends, that have land, let the word slip that you hunt, and hope they have a hog problem lol

What a bunch of hipocrite's, " no jesus no peace " How can you go off on a tangent bustin' california instead of just answering the guy's question ? There's 15 million people in Ca and about 1% are gay, you've probably got more gay's in your church percentage wise than we do in Ca. dumbass !
