Default Our Hog Bowhunt Just ended

8 of us from Iowa, Kansas, Colorado & Indiana met at Shiloh for a few days of Hog Bowhunting. We had gotten together last year & made it again this year.
The weather was hot & dry for us as 5 of us from Iowa listened to all the flooding going on. Anyway-we took 10 hogs & had (I think) 5 others that managed to escape razor sharp broadheads. This is a pic of 5 hogs taken the 1st evening of Bowhunting

My big hog is being roasted for my county Foster Parent families in appreciation in what they do for kids. My wife & I started this & sponser it every year.
The little "ROASTER" I took for me & my family. Yep, keepin the best for me & mine.

I have gone the last 4 years in June for hogs-it has always been 90-95 degrees but it keeps me Bowhunting. I "seem" to get at least one or maybe two other hog trips besides.I have to travel 14 hours (minimum) one way but "I" think the cost is well worth it for me.

Being retired & my wife & I taking care of unwanted teens gives me that "sanity" break I need.
Only kidding-the kids are great....
My wife & I are truly blessed. Photo is me hard at work.
