I am really working a piece of property in north Florida and I was looking for some people to go up with me to help in the expense. I got a bright idea to put a note up at a gun range to find persons interested in going and giving them a chance to kill some pork. I put up the first note and received zero, nada, zippo phone calls. The second one went up 2 weeks later and I got 9 calls. It is like my friend said to me"¦."¯Put a piece of furniture in the front yard with a sign that says free and no one will want it. Same furniture with a sign that says 100 dollars, and they will steal it"¯.
So now I have people to take that want to give me money but I have never done that before. I used to be a charter captain and know the rules to that but with hunting I have no clue. Not really sure I even want to do it but it looks like I could make about 1000 dollars a month extra that I would do for free. What are your guys thoughts on this and any outfitter/guide input would be appreciated. The two posts I have put below.

Pig hunt all summer. I am looking for individuals that would like to go take care of some hogs we have running around. I will generally go on weekends but sometimes sneak up on a Friday also. I have several feeders running and I am currently planting a food plot to shoot over and would like to keep the hogs off of it and the deer on it. Cost is we split gas and you have to share some driving. I leave out of St. Pete and it is about a 3 hour drive. Please feel free to call me.

Wild Hog Charters
Big boars, Meat hogs, Shoats, or Females. Active feeders running 4 times a day. Hunt is all day and as late as you can stand the mosquitoes. Rifle, shotgun, bow, or a swiss army knife, whatever you want to take em with. We meet in Lafayette county, Florida and I put you in the stand that is favorable to the wind. Cleaning station available and I will assist you in your first few then I stand back and watch. NO LIMIT on how many hogs you can take and NO trophy fees. Cost is 250 dollars per stand for up to two hunters (they are all two man stands). Please feel free to call me.
Honestly, i think you should do it. I guided turkey hunts this year and it went well. The main problem is that when people pay to hunt, they EXPECT to kill an animal. It totally changes a person. I had a guy miss 2 this year and he was mad that I DIDNT PUT HIM ON A BIRD... So, keeping this in mindif they dont kill a pig, you should do fine. If you think you can take 10 guys and kill 10 pigs, take 8 guys. That way there is room for error.
Whatever you decide, just make sure that your their to watch over the place so they don't trash it. You should also look into getting a contract drawn up in case of an accident, ect.
