Hello everyone! I just thought I'd wade in slowly and get my feet wet. I was hoping for some advice on hog hunting because I'd like to plan a trip to try my luck. I thought I might impose upon some of the veteran hog hunters for some information concerning a trip. I'd appreciate any help you could extend to me. Thanks
Where are you looking to hunt? There are lots of good places. Do you want a guided hunt or just go hunt in a standoverlooking a feeder or field. Night hunting hogs is always good. Check out Ranger Creek Ranch in Texas.Theyhave several options and tons of hogs.

Thanks, I'll check that out. I've been wanting to do a hunt for awhile now, and am just now starting to get some information together. I've beenin NRA mode for the last two months trying to get everything organized for our local "Friends of NRA" banquet thats scheduled for March 1st.
Welcome Padnar... BTW, Ausie (Russ) is from Australia, he an original *******. I have to translate for him at times. He's full of it, but still my best friend. But don't tell him that, he'll get the big head, and hurt Rowels feelings... Okay Rowel, I love you too....[:-]... and Reb, and Burnie, and Greg.. Good Gosh when does this stop.
Hi Rev! Thank you for the update on Ausie. My wife hasa friend who lives there (he flew all the way to the states to attend our wedding in 2005), he's a great guy. He's always wanting my wife and I to send him company firearm stickers and window decals (Colt/Winchester/S&W)since their country saw fit to take away their guns.

I heard about that, ever since Russ left Australia there's no need for people to own guns anymore.
