Default Question

Whats the best way to bowhunt hogs. We have hogs on our hunting property and I wanted to get some ideas to hunt them. Should I hunt them from a pop up blind or tree stand? Should I put out some corn to bring them close to my blind or stand????

I generally use a tree stand and hunt hogs over bait. Digging a post hole and filling it with corn mixed with Kool-Aid is usually a pretty effective attractant. They will keep coming back and digging at that corn.

Hey guys,
Inever head of the koolaid trick. In central Illinois a guy set me up with oats soaked in rootbeer. He said they feed on sasafrase in the south, and that really got them going on the bait.
