Default Hog Calls???

Do hogs respond to calls, and are there any hog calls on themarket? I deer hunt an area with a lot of hogs on it, and hear them off in the distance sometimes and would like to try to call them to me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I don't want to bait the area because its public land and I like to play by the rules.

I have never used one, but they are on the market. I know Knight and Hale make one, and I'm not sure who else. I have also seen hog scent lures too, like sow in heat. I can't remember who made them, but Google can tell you almost anything. If you try this stuff, you'll have to post your results.

Every major sporting good stores carrys hog calls, the problem is unless you know what you're doing you might be running them off, instead of calling them in.
Is it against the rules to drink powered jello while hunting,,, leave a pack open somewhere, they will smell it.

Like posted, haveheard ofno success with calls. Scent will draw them though. Try differentthings likethe jello, fermenting corn, overripebananas or apples, orHog Wild beast feast in a bag or container that you take in with you and bring out so as not to constitute baitingand see if you get any results.
