300 lbs on black hog in foreground, 350 to 400 on brendled hog ( hard to guess that one withblack hogblocking).

Oh, those are live weight guesses.

i would guess, the real.. unexagerated... actual weights of those 2 hogs..
to be.. around 170lbs dressed out with no guts.
i assume that would be 250 -270 w/ the guts still inside.

(most people, with pictures of hogs like that.. claim 350 - 400 when you see postings and pictures online and in magazines.

and your right... the 50-70 Pound Hogs are the Best... (which would be the 125-150 LIVE WEIGHT)
How bout these guys right here, now those are gonna be some good eating.
Almost all of them in this group should dresss out around 60lbs. live Weight around 100.

he wins alot of those. or at least places high in them every year.
a few of my hogs came from 1 of the places we hunt with him down near Tilden.
but most of mine come out of Pearsall and Poteet.

I didnt weight them live, only butcher dressed. LOL
The black pig came in at 170 lbs and the pinto 225lbs, this was without guts, skin, head or feet, just a pure meat carcass, weighed at the proccessor.
So how much would I add to that to come up with live weight, I know those guts were heavy, sowere the skins and that head on the pinto was at least 30lbs.

I think that would be pretty close. I would say 275 and 350.
I took 3 of us several tries to get that white one in the pick-up bed

Hogs have an awful lot of guts. Biggest one i ever got weighed 365 pounds field dressed. We field dressed him on the bed of my pickup and the ten gallon garbage can was 2/3 full of guts.
