Default wma hogs

how can i locate the hogs on my wma? i went early in the morning and came back a few hours before sunset. i found signs of hogs but no hogs. right before dark(like 5 -10 minutes) i heard a few way off in the distance and then they just stopped making noise. where are good areas to look and stake out. i will be using a rimfire .22 i might be bringing my bow also

Rem mod 597 is .22 cal not .33.......Yes, a .22cal will kill a 2000 pd bull, but only by seasoned experienced shooters.....

I hunt them with my 30-30, I hunt in REALLY thick area, so it's hard to find the wallows since there is water everywhere. I look for mud rubs on trees and fallen logs. I'm going to try and take a few with a bow this year though.

If there is a fresh one in the area......you will know it before you get to it!
