Got this sow at 8m last evening at about 45 yards. The hole in her side is the entry hole. The hog did not go anywhere, just flopped around for about one minute. The bullet did not exit. Got her on ice fast and took her to the butcher early this morning.

"Im surprised the bullet didnt exit with the shot being so far back. Great lookin pig, What do you think the weight was on it?"
She was quartering away at a pretty good angle. The bullet broke some ribs. The heart and liver were not damaged. It did tear up some intestines and totallydestroyed the lungs. Really strange.
Congrats!! I too am from Oklahoma (Yukon) do we have a lot of hogs in OK?
Comanche county is my old stompin ground! I grew up in Lawton but now live in Yukon as well! To answer your question about hogs in Oklahoma, YES they are a LOT of them. My cousin has a creek that has simply been overran by them. We try to thin them out the best we can, but it's difficult seeing how every sow I ever see is being followed by 10 piglets!
