This time of year hunt early in the morning, real late in the evening or at night. Hunt around water holes or look for wallers or trails going to water holes. Use the wind. The best thing for a new hunter is pay a little bit and go to a good game ranch and let them teach you some things and help you get a hog. Be sure to use the wind like deer hunting. Aim a little lower and closer to the front leg than a deer, or right behind the ear with a rifle, if you have confidence in that shot. All in all the more you hunt them the better you will get. Lots of good info on this sight. Good luck, lots of good ways to enjoy the meat also.
