The hog wasn't a hoax...it really did weigh 1,051lbs...

No laws were broken regarding the buying and selling of the hog...

The hog was farmed raised until it got to be too big for the owner to handle...

No laws were broken regarding the hunting of the hog...

None of the people involed ever claimed that this hog was a new record...

really, who cares anymore? I fat guy paid for his son to shoot a fat hog.

I'm starting to see alot of PETA type comments regarding the slaughter of this hog.

I think they made a big deal out of this hog. And them photoshopping is the hoax!

My man, every hunting lodge tries to make the animal killed at that lodge look bigger in the pictures they put out. The only mistake they made was trying to make the hog look bigger than it already was. The hog really weighed in at 1,051lbs, no laws were broken, and they never claimed that hog to be a world record.
