Default Bite size hog bait

I thought I'd share this trick I like to use for soured corn. Instead of putting your corn in a big bucket and taking out what you need, try using one gallon milk jugs. I use this method for attracting big cat fish with soured milo. It works with corn too and a whole lot easier and not as messy to carry to your hunting spot. You can either cut the top off and bury it, or just cut it open and set out by a trail. You can make up as much or as little as you need. And you don't have to always use corn, milo and oats works well too. To keep from accidental spillage, I super glue the lid on. This method works good for those guys that live in appartments and don't have the room to make up bait.

Thanks for the idea. Guess we don't have many wild hogs in NJ. One time
I forgot to tie down the lid on my 30 gal spin feeder for deer. It was about filled with corn and a little storm blew it off and the rain did it's job.
I only check it every other week and boy was it sour. Nothing ever touched that pile.

How many times do I have to tell ya Reb, I am not as dumb as I look!

Okay I know I am leaving the door open for some good ones... From Aussie, Txjourneyman, and the others that love me so much. Heres two I started last week with milo for fishing. I keep them out by my a/c's where it gets nice and hot. Notice I don't fill them to the top, they will expand as they decompose.

Sure sounds like a great idea to me. Think I'll pick up some corn in the morning and get it started for next weekends fishing trip and I'll take a few down to the deer camp and stake out for "hogzilla II".
