I had planned on getting down to ft sill for the hog hunts, but im gonna be tied up till the season is over.....but there is always next year.

This is actually the first year Ft. Sill has allowed hog hunting on the base. Not sure if they are going to open it back up next year or not. You can't use a rifle out there only muzzelloader, archery equipment, or slugged shotfun.

Wow, that brings back Memories! In 1958 I was with Elvis at Fort Chaffee, AK.. I was there for Artillery Training and he was a Boot. He was sent to Fort Hood, TX for Armor Training and I went to Fort Sill, OK for Advance Artillery Training in (Lawless, OK

Ryan,i have hunted on FT. Sill for many years. Ft. Siil has had a special hog season each year for the past several years. It is also legal to kill hogs in deer season. It is legal to take them in small game season with a shotgun and small shot, or a .22 on some parts of the base.
