Default ice pig

made the rounds again bout noon hopin the pigs were movin after all the ice but not much happenin.3:30 makin the way home we spotted a hog 1/4 mile out on a grass and mesquite patch.looked like a decent pig,so we unloaded the wheelers and dogs and eased to him.wasn't long and they had him bayed right on the fence row.eased up as aclose as we could before we dropped Zeke and my black dog Midge.he met Zeke head on and flipped him thru the air ,was gone like streak with the baydogs on his butt.3oo yrds, he was bayed and we got to see the bulls hit him again.zeke got flipped and then midge they gained their feet and was locked.bad thing the black dog got a lock on the boars snout out front but on the side. he run those big tusks plum thru her bottom jaw a couple times and wound up rippin her top jaw flap into .after we got a hold of him went to pullin dogs ,midge first and then zeke after we got him down.bay dogs were off pretty easy except sue and flo.he got flo in his jaws and went to chompin but she got out real quick with nothin more than a sore mouth.sue only got a few more licks in before we got all out and tied.
a real rough boar even after we got him down, good 2 1/2 cutters on both sides with the wetters just as long. guessed 250 or a little lower.

wound up catchin some more of those ice pigs today, baydogs had a blast catchin 5 20 lb.shoats and a 90 lb sow,but we did gain some more huntin ground for thatround of catchin and possibly more to come since the DEER HUNTERS couldn't remove any of the hogs that are absolutly wreckin this guys wheat, have never seen em tear it up so bad and the pecan orchards are just as bad.we spotted over 25 hogs comin out of the pecans and then across the creek 1 1/2 miles found over 30in wheat.took us a couple of hours to finally gain permission but it was worth it.back at it again in the morn.
