Default Did you see the Fred Barta Hog Hunt?

It was just on OLN...he hunted hogs with a knife after the dogs pinned the hog down? I never question any hunting ethics...but I could not get into that.

Stalk, still and dog hunting...to each his own, but I don't think he is "more" of a hunter!

Thats called a hog party in Mississippi.And thats how its been done for generations.I saw my first one in 05 and its a method of nuisance control.(those hogs tear up the beans) One guy got 14 hogs on one spread.

We do the same here and also hog tie the Shoats, castrate them and then turn them loose!

That is how I do it as well. Only time we stick them though is if we can't get close enough to get them out with an ATV. We tie 90% of them, even the big ones.
