Default Anyone hunt goat or sheep in Oahu before?

Headed there later this month. Appears goat and sheep season is open.

Hey Treewalker,
I've not hunted the Islands but will be getting married in April and considering HI for our 'hunting-moon' as I've termed it against the fiancee's wishes

Did you have any luck over there?

No. I did locate a private ranch with goat on North Shore of Oahu but was at the very end of vacation so had no time to hunt. My suggestion is to book a 2 day sidetrip to one of the other islands that have multiple guides for sheep, goat, and pig plus game birds...Maui, Big Island or Oahu. Rio Grande Turkey are on one or more of those islands as well and is a spring hunt.

Right on! Thanks for the pointers. I'd forgotten about Spring turkey. It occured to me yesterday that we're possibly travelling around Spring break, so that might not be cost effective or the smart thing to do (who needs scantily clad co-eds running around when I'm on my hunting-moon, ya know?

Was hoping to hit Axis, boar, or goat, birds would be a bonus. I'll let you know what I end up doing and give you a status report!
