Dad gum deer messing up my hog hunting
Ourbowseason, for whitetail, doesnt start for 12 more days. I go out Sat. to arrow a hog, and see nothing but deer. I had easy shots on two fat doe, a nice mature 5 point, and a monster 8 point.[:@][:@]
Happens every year. See great deer while hog hunting, and when the season opens, they disappear. I hope this year is different. I could have tagged out Sat.

It happened to me too! I went out in the rain Sun. afternoon. Saw 4 deer and no hogs. I just knew the hogs would be moving with the rain and cooler temps. Oh well. And because of that Murphy guy I probably won't see anything but hogs on the 30th!
My buddy has been chasing a herd of about 40 out of his pasture every morning until this past weekend when I decided to go up there and shoot one. Then we couldn't find them.
