Default Hogs and Thermacell?

Can they smell it or is it the same as deer, it doesnt bother them?

I'm sure they can smell it - hogs or deer. If you look at one in operation you can see the slightest bit of "smoke" coming off it.

they may smell it, but it doesn't bother them.in Fl. we have to use them year round,(every trip to the woods).
we have a bunch of hogs in our area and have never had the cell bother them or deer.

don't know what it smell like to the animals,they don't seem to smell anything out of order.

I've never had them run from it yet and I've had the wind in the wrong direction more than once. If you're a little concerned, they make deer scented ones now. Doe in Heat etc.
