Default Got One!

My business partner and I have 50 acres 70 miles from Ft. Worth where we set up our business. He and his wife life out there with deer and turkey running wild.. She will not allow either of us to hunt. This week endwe had a visit from a heard of pigs, after eating her plants that she painstakingly cared for.. we can now hunt the property.. we managed to get one small pig about 80 pounds Sat. evening, and I am sure in the following days we'll get more... I didn't get a picture, I couldn't find my camera until I got finished skinning out the pig.

Don't mess with a woman and her plants!!!!!!!!!!!

Well , another good use for a hog!Getting your partners wife to give you the OK may just be the proverbial "silk purse".

Yep, it just could be. We almost had her convinced last deer season, but yesterday, my partner said he was sure she would give us permission to take a deer.. Finally, it's been almost 7 years since we sold our land and building in town to move out to the country..

You could try explaining to her that deer eat landscaping too , and they usually favor the more expensive plants ...

I never bothered to ask my wife whether I can hunt my property or not . I pay for it , I hunt it , case closed . She loves the deer meat I bring home too much to give it up anyway , so it isn't an issue with us . I was out just yesterday scouting places to put my new ladder stand , and a couple of trees that can take a climber .

If only deer were as ugly as a wild hog.

Congrates on the new plot.

By the way, ill be ridding scooter through your neck of the woods Rev.. Ill be leaving Knox City Satmorning with a couple of buddies and heading through Burleson to meet up with a few other buddies, then up to Fort Worth to meet up with others and finally stopping in Lavon for the 4th of July.
