I have never had any luck with them but then again I have never realy tried but I have used the Primos squeal and grunt calls as well as the Knight Hale squeal call and the only one that I rate is the Primos grunt call as it sounds just like a feeding hog and draws them out of cover and can make them change there feeding direction strait towards you.

The cotton tail screamer sounds real similar to the squealer call. The squealer call is an alert call though. I've seen it be a lot more effective after lets say taking a shot with a bow and they scatter. You can sometimes call the sows back in for another shot. Everytime I have shot one with a rifle or shotgun and they squealed, the others didn't stick around to protect anything. It is supposed to kick in their natural protective instincts though, but I have had a lot more success usinga grunter call to mimic a boar hog as I walked back and forth from my stand. They will right you off until they see you standing upright. The grunter does calm them down. I personally use and sell both on my website.
