Looking for information on Outer Banks NC hOG HUNTS

I have herd that at one time there was wild hog hunting on the outer banks of NC.Does anyonehave information on any of these hunts.
I do not know if they still exist or the hogs have all been killed off but this is for wild hogs.Not any raised in a pen.
Any information will be a big help.

wow, i had no idea there was any hog hunting in the outer banks. id like to hear more about this also, if anyone knows.
