Default Looking for an exotics hunting lodge

I'm looking for a hunting lodge, preferably in the southern US ( TN area or any days drive from Chicago) where I can takea decent ram. I've been to one lodge in TN for boar and was very satisfied as far as that went. I would not go there again for ram, elk, etc.. The elk and red staggs could actually be fed through the fence and you could walk to within about 10 yards of a ram. The boar, on the other hand, we challenging and most of them ran off after they just heard us coming.

I've been looking at White Oak Exotic Hunting Resort in Ohio. Has anyone heard anything about this place ? I haven't been able to find any reviews on it. I know their are about 5-6 in TN. Has anyone had a good experience with their hunts there ?

Thanks for the response. I was at Wilderness Hunting Lodge in Monterey, TN last year. Hog was about 225#. Didn't really agree with the way they handled the larger animals.

Have you tried Crooked Creek ? I'm just looking for a place that will allow me to not get within 30 feet of what I'm trying to shoot.

Private e-mail me. I started Bowhunting Exotics 4 years ago making informational videos on Bowhunting Hogs & Exotics. Been to several places in Texas & Oklahoma.
I travel from Northern Ill./Iowa border & most trips are around 12-14 hour drive. I am 3 hours West of Chicago..
