Default Let's get some hawgs!

Welcome to this new forum. I snuck it in here.. we'll see how long it takes that other admin to notice..

Anyhow, hog hunting is near and dear to my heart so hopefully this forum will get some good use.

I'm thinking of organizing a HuntingNet.Com Group Hog Hunt somewhere down in Texas for wild hogs and javies.

Anybody interested? Any ideas?

I've never hunted pigs in Texas, but I would consider it. Hey, a pig hunt is a pig hunt, and they are always fun to me. You will be hard presses to find more fun and better eating for the money!

Count me in,,, I am from Burleson Texas, and we have quite a few hunters on the forum from Texas. Go to the Regional post and look up Texas hunters. There are quite a few on the Tech form as well.

Rev Sweetwater creek is a good place , but not good for a good sized group....

I have huntedfive times with one outfitter out of Laredo, Tx and he has four to five different multithousand acres ranches to chose from, His outfit is called PEDERNALBOWHUNTS.COM, I think.... His name is Jerry Gonzalas.

I would be proud to hunt with you , just let me know the dates so I can plan ahead....most of the places in South Texas charge in the general area of 300.00 for a Hunt spanning from Noon Friday to noon sunday...but if you could get a group of 16-18 hunters together you could probably get a better price, Jerry is a great guy to hunt with...

I will Dale, we have to get together one day. I am in Weatherford quite a bit. Maybe we can meet at Skinnys for a coke and a burger.

A Texas hog-hunt sounds like fun to me. I'm in Fort Worth.

(And I drove past Skinny's just the other day; should've stopped for a burger.)
