Default Duracoat on a lever action?

How good is Duracoat? and would it be a good idea to put it on a lever action. the rifle is a marlin 308 mxlr. Its stainless steel barrel, tube mag., and receiver and I want to turn it black because I don't like Stainless steel on guns well at least that not that much shine anyway. What should I do?

It is good and will be hard if you don't use it for 2-3 wks. It takes time to setup. Go for it.
