350 Remington Brand Ammunition..Yikes

Was at the local gun store on Friday afternoon perusing thru factory ammo. Ran across a a few boxes of Remington Brand 350 mag ammo. I opened up a box and it looked like the ammo had been stored in a coal mine somewhere. The rim of the cases looked like they had been filed round

with a bastard file they were so bad. I then went thru the rest of the boxes and they looked similiar and they had the same batch number. I wonder who was working the ammo making machine at that time. I couldn't even believe they were that bad and at 27.99 a box who would have thought that. I'm sure there is WWII ammo stored in a bunker somewhere that is way higher quality. What a shame..those yo-yos must have no quality control whatsoever to let that slip out.

After reading your comments I"™m sure happy I reload my own 350 Rem. Mags. It"™s nice not having to rely on factory ammo.

If they were that bad i would have bought them,then sent a sample to Rem and asked them what they would do to make this right by me,and themselves as the manufactor. With all the competitiion now days they ,the companies will give you free stuff ect. vangunsmith

next time I am in that shop they will probably still be there and I will point them out to the owner.

Just because you found 2 or 3 boxes that were like that doesnt mean that ALL remington brass is bad. Out of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of remington cases Ive used, only 1 was bad.

Remington brass is just as good as winchester brass....PERIOD.

I agree!

Some place around here i have a factory loaded Winchester round that didn't fire. When i pulled the round apart, there was NO flash hole in it!! I have a Federal round with the primer in sideways ect.. ect..

Everyone makes some junk from time to time..

They don't have to be pretty to work, but at that price I'd want them to look good too.

No one said that all Remington brass is like that. I'm betting it goes unsold if the person buying at it opens the box first. Pitiful.
