Default Best Factory Trigger , Simple, precise and rugged ?

Who in your opinion makes the best factory trigger ? NOW I don't mean as it comes from the factory. I mean if we were going there it would have to be a Tikki or Accutrigger. I mean after all adjustments have been made etc etc. WHat rifle has the simplest mechanism and most rugged?

Simplest and most rugged is the Winchester trigger and its copies. Only two major parts and one screw to adjust everything. Very simple to get a smooth and crisp break with no creep or over travel.

Thats what I thought as well just wanted to confirm it. I don't think there is a better combination of features out there. Anyone else have a different opinion?

BTW Slamfire..everytime I see your name it brings back memories of a SLAMFIRE with my 280 KS rifle when firing a volley of finishing shots at a bull. It did it once and I gave the gunsmith that adjusted it hell for leaving it like that. Funny I usually test a rifle for that condition but I didn't on that one . YOu never know when Murphy makes an appearance.

OEH,
How about the trigger in a Heckler and Koch PSG-1?

Remington triggers are the easiest for me to adjust the way I want them but then I have done dozens of them over the years.

Swampman, for all I know an H&K psg-1 may or may not exist. I am pretty much into rifles and shotguns ..pistols and other arms just don't hold my interest.

James B..agreed on the adjustment part and they are very crisp as well. However i personally like the wide open design of the Mod 70 and the Ruger 77. Sometimes simple is better

The old Sako triggers are hard to beat. Parker Hale....the old ones had a Timney Trigger that was awesome. The newer CZ set triggers are nice....IMHO, any remington, winchester or ruger triggers are clearly, 2d drawer.
