Default .22 Suggestions Anyone?

I bought a semi-auto .22 last year for my boys to get started with. I realized I made a big mistake getting a semi-auto for the simple concept of teaching them good gun safety (the fact that a semi-auto always has one "loaded").

Anyway, I'm looking for a good suggestion for a pump or lever .22 for <= $200. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance-

I would look at Marlin, as I think they have a lever action .22 still. Also, I think Henry makes a pretty decent piece for a good price. I would also look into a bolt action from either Marlin or Savage. Also, there are the H&R single shots that can be had for not much over $100 and shoot fine, especially if you are just getting your kids into shooting. Hope this helps.

I bought my daughter a combo kit from Rossi. It is a single shot break open .22 AND a .410 shotgun barrel. I paid $100 on sale at Dicks. Normally it was priced at $159 I think? they also had .22/ 20 ga. kits available too!!
