If you had to pick a gun that you would hunt with the rest of your life Would it be a 30-30, 300wsm,300wm, 300wby,30-06, 308,35whenlin,338wm,416,270,7mm, 7wsm or the 280?????

Since you didn't mention the 7mm-08 Rem I will go with a 270 Win. Seeing as how I will never get the chance to hunt anything but deer, either of those cartridges are perfect for my needs.

If I had to, my .308win would proably be my choice. I hunt whitetail with it and it does an outstanding job! Good thing I don't have to make that choice though Especially with my Encore, any caliber a barrel change away
