Hastings Compensator Turkey Chokes

Does anyone know if you can shoot Hevi Shot out of the new Hastings Compensator Turkey Chokes. It says "Lead Only", but I have been told that is just to deter people from using Steel... Not heavy shot.

It's not reccommended for heavy shot either. Hastings chokes are built and tested with regular lead. Gotta love those patterns though. The range of my Hastings choke with my 835 is unbeleivable. To tell you the truth it's almost too tight. I don't like taking shots closer than 35 yards.
