Renfrowridge,
Does it have any model number markings? I'm thinking it's a model 1000, but the gold trigger is throwing me off. Does it look like this?

RENFRORIDGE,
I'll do some more checking. At any rate it's a british made rifle based on the 98 Mauser action. Not surprised it's a shooter. I'll get right back to ya.

RENFRORIDGE,
Well, it's British made. Based on a 98 mauser action. the specific model is a 1200 Super. It's retail value is between 1000 and 1100 dollars new. I've seen them on gunsamerica and gunbroker go for between 500-1000 depending on condition. Sounds like you made a great purchase and if it shoots like you say, I'd hang on to it. Hope this helped.

Hello ridge...got a nickname?? It's a PH super Safari. You better go and give that woman about 400 more to clear your heavenly path. What's the SN? I suspect 4 digits? PH is world famous for there barrels and it's not suprising that it shoots this good. http://www.parker-hale.com/about.htm
Here you will find all the history/ info on PH. you have a truly great nearly hand made treasure there. What scope and mounts are on it?? In new condition with box....1500 easy. OBTW...Many of the late 60's PH's had the gold trigger. Regards, Rick.
