Default If you were buyin cheap a .22 semi auto..

What would it be? When I say cheap, I mean under $350 after tax.

I'm lookin at several right now just to keep me occupied when I get bored.

1: Ruger MKII w/ 4" or 6" barrel
2: Ruger MKIII Hunter w/ 7" stainless fluted barrel
3: Walther P22

What do y'all think?

I'd go for a Mark II with the 5-1/2" bull barrel if I was set on a semi-auto. Otherwise, and my personal favorite, I'd look to a Single-Six with 5-1/2" barrel. An added benefit is
the ability to shoot both 22LR, and 22Mag. with the extra cylinder for the revolver.

I had the longer barreled Ruger it was very accurate. I myself shoot the longer barreled pistols much better. More sight radius.

I think I have made up my mind and I think I am gonna go with the MKIII Hunter. I'll spend more than I'd like to on a .22 Pistol but thats the way it is [8D]

Thar she be.
I've got a BSA red dot scope I might put on it since the pistol comes with a weaver style base.

I would have to agree w/ the Ruger Mark II. I have one and when we go out to the pond I can hold my own w/ my friends shooting .22 rifles. We've been known to sit on the front porch and shoot a brick of shells through it just playing around.
