Every time I build a new gun I say it's the last one....and I'm saying it again....but I'm probably wrong again. This one I have in wood, action, barrel, reamer rental, quarter rib, barrel band, front sight, sling swivel, bluing and misc costs over $2,400 and there's not a penny of labor in it yet!!! But I work cheap when building my own rifles.

I suspect if one had something like this built for you the cost would run over $5,000 and I'd never pay that for a gun.....so I'm relegated to making my own!!!

The .416 Rem Mag is far more practical than the .404 Jeffery but then building something like this is not a matter of being practical.....it's clearly for show but it will go hunting as well.....just not sure when I'll be able to make that second trip over the pond.....but this thing goes along when I do!!
