I recently received a MKII in 7x57 and couldn't be more pleased. Trigger needs work however.

I understand that Rifle BAsix now makes a replacement for the Ruger and involves less work(filing down the safety) then the Timney.

I was watching a show on the Travel channel that John Ratzenberg stars in (Norm from Cheers) they had a tour of the Ruger plant and the barrel making area. It looked like an operating room it was that organized and clean. I am not surprised they make a barrel that good because if it werent' a good barrel you wouldn't have a group that small. Good Luck and enjoy.
