Suppressors help protect your hearing. With a suppressor you can hunt with it the gun and not have to compromise your hearing with ear plugs while at the same time not permanently damaging your hearing every time you pull the trigger. They also make sense for shooting ranges in urban areas- quieter guns= less complaints and fear from the sheeple. They are pretty popular in Europe for these reasons. Unfortunately, the knee jerk idiots who are the people that we call "politicians" seem to associate suppressors with hitmen and terrorists.

I suggest you contact Glock for the correct application that will apply to your handgun. They can recommend the correct barrel replacment and matching suppressor for your firearm. Many aftermarket suppressors will void your Glock warranty.
