Default What would you like to see in a new gun?

I want to see marlin bring out the spikehorn in .35 remington
The day they do, I will have to have one. Nothin like the trusty .35 Rem

Marlin did make the 336D for Davidson's a few years ago. A .35 Rem guide gun. (got one) Very nice package.


I'd like to see manufacturers bring back some of the classic cartridges in thier production models. Enough of these super-short-techno-mags.

I have a Marlin 336 in .35 Remington and it is a great gun. When I bought it I never even heard of the .35, but I got it for a great price used and I'm glad I bought it now. The only problem is I leave it at the deer lease and everybody always grabs it to hunt w/ if I don't grab it first.

I would like to see Marlin bring back the MR-7 in 280 Remington with a 24" barrle and quality synthetic stock.

I would like to see a 45/70 in a sxs for under 1000.00. I know Remington spartan is suppose to import them I just want to see one.

DON'T GET ME WRONG, I'M SURE THEY HAVE MANY FANS,BUT WHAT I'D LIKE TO SEE IN A NEW GUN IS NOTHING SHORT OR SUPERSHORT MAGNUM. BRING BACK THE 280 AND CHAMBER A NICE FACTORY GUN IN 338-06.

The main thing I would to see again is the craftsmanship return.Compare modern guns against guns for 30 years ago.No comparison.Craftsmanship for the most part is a thing of the past.

Something factory chambered in .264 Winmag, for those of us who love the 6.5 mm formate, and also like cartridges that go faster then they should
