B-Square Scope Mount

Got a new Benelli Nova and want to put my scope on it. My experience with the B-Square on my old 870 was that it marked it up.

Will a B-Square mark up the camo on my Nova?

what do you mean it marked it up? vangunsmith

You can see lines on the blueing where the scope mount was.

Put a piece of paper over the receiver then slowly push the mount over the receiver.
When the mount is in the right place remove the paper .

It keeps the mount from scratching the receiver during installion.

With a steel receiver ( 870 ect) put 2 coats of wax on the receiver before installing the mount as above to keep the receiver from rusting.
