Ploopy,Can't speak for the Coyote in 22-250 but I have one in 223.I've had it to the range a couple times. I was using very old reloads that I loaded back in 1982.Even at that I was getting approx. 1.5" group @ 100yards.I think once I take the time to work up a good load for it should shoot some tight groups. The gun hasn't been touched except for a trigger job.Seems to be a well made rifle and the fitting of parts,I would say it's much better then most of the modern guns on the market today. I really don't think you can go wrong with any model 70.

I had the Stealth in 22-250 and I think it has the same action as the Coyote. This was an awsome rifle and I could kick myself for selling it. The Coyote has a little less weight but still heavy. I just looked at a Coyote during a visit to Bass Pro Shop a couple days ago. I don't think you will go wrong.
