Default Is this a square deal?

I have the chance to buy a used 7mm Rem Mag. Browning Medallion. The gun is in pristine condition - not a scratch. It has a KDF Muzzel brake, and has been fired about 75 times. It holds thumbnail groups at 100 yds, and has a 28" barrel. His asking price is $500 (no scope). Been wanting one for a long time-- Your opinions please.

That sounds fair enough from your discription. On Browning's site 7mm RM Medallion w/Boss 915.00. Offer less you can always come up. 75 rounds it's just breaking in.
