RE: .22 Hornet on Coyotes
I used a Ruger #3 when I was hide huntin'. To cut down on exit holes I used the Sierras made for the .220 Swift and .22-250. They called them high velocity then, pushed along with 11.5 grains of 296 they mushroomed like game bullets in the 'yotes. If the target animal was over 100 yards away I didn't get exits. I gave it up due to the fragilility of the brass. If you want to reload, try and round up military brass, its more substantial, but you'll have to load lighter.
