Default 700 BDL Wood with Heavy Barrel

I just got a older 700 mint condition with bull barrel, walnut stock, metal floor plate and trigger guard. I never knew they made these with Varmint special barrels. When do you think it was made? Looks like it was never fired.

Oh yes, contact Remington arms and give them the serial Numbers and they can tell you when it was made. vangunsmith

I have a 700 BDL wood w/ bull barrel chambered in 222 remington. old style safety with the bolt locked in safe position and unlocked on fire... gun is from the late 60's early 70's... has had maybe 3 boxes of shells put through it in it's lifetime. and yes remington can tell you when it was made by the serial #
