Which Model of .17 HMR

I have been doing some serious looking for the best .17 HMR for the dollar. It seems that Savage and Marlin are at the top of the heap for value. Can anyone expand on these rifles. I am leaning towards a bolt action as opposed to semi, and a heavy barrel. Can a good .17 be had for around $200

a marlin cant be beat. I live up in alberta so the exchange is different but ive read of people getting them for around that price. i cant remeber which model though. check out the link below for lots of great info.
