need help.......fast

hey guys i was out walking in my woods this morning and i finally found some coyote/fox tracks. im goin out this evening but not sure what i should take. i have a 12 gauge 2 3/4 double barrel that i shoot no.4 buckshot out of. i also have a 30-06 w/ handloaded 180 sbt sierra gamekings. or a .270 shooting winchesters 130 ballistic silvertips. i have other guns but these r the ones im considering. the only reason im sorta iffy on the 12 gauge is cause there is a spot where i could get a 100 yd shot. i also put this under the predator messgae board but i figured i might get some replies here too. thanks for the help

.270.....Highly unlikely you sneak up on either close enough for the 12 ga, and I am assuming the .270 will shoot those laods flatter than the .308 shoots.

If you want to sell the pelt, the '06 will do less damage...otherwise shoot the rifle that you are most accurate with at 100 yards. Foget the shotgun. regards, Rick.

I would definetly go with the .270. I have hunted coyotes for 11 yrs and i use a .270 with a 140 grain bullet. i have had great sucess with this round.
