Default Help finding a Weatherby

I have looked in all the shops around my area (100 mile radius), and no one can find or locate the following rifle for me; Weatherby Accumark 7mm Rem. with a factory accubrake. If you can help - thanks!!

If they are still being manufactured Wal-Mart can order it for you and you will be suprised at the low cost. When I cant find a particular rifle any where I just go my local Wal-Mart and have them order it. It must still be in production. Just a thought, Jimmy

You can try Carter's Country in Houston. If they don't have it they will order it for you. They are one of the largest gun dealers in the country so they usually have a really large selection.

There are quite a few Accumarks in 7mm on Gunbroker. Have you looked around on the internet? Finding one with that break already on it might be tricky, but you can always arrange for the seller to send it back to Wby and get it installed before they send it to your dealer for transfer to you.

Watch www.gunsamerica.com. You can sign up for the "wishlist" that will show you every (you choose mfg)gun listed that day.Everyday I get the Ruger listings like clock work. You can find some hard to find guns watching GA.

you shouldn't need a brake for that rifle.jmo.would rather have it without brake.

Very true the accumark is a fairly heavy rifle and chambered in 7mmremmag the recoil will be quite mild.

Thanks for all the responses - I knew I could count on my cohorts! I agree - the 7mm Rem. does not need a brake; however, if I can get one - then my wife thinks that she can shoot it.

Just realize that you must always wear hearing protection when shooting a rifle equipped with a brake.Even a single shot without protection can cause your ears to ring and do permanent damage to your hearing.

the noise will make her flinch long before the recoil.
