Default used rem 700BDL value

Buddy wants to sell his used 700 for $175. Gun is in good shape, around eight years old and hasn't been shot a ton. Seems like a no-brainer, even has two stocks, original wood and a composite of some sort. Assuming no rust and in good shape, seem fair???

Oops, sorry. I'm buying it. It's a 270, something I've always wanted and certainly don't need so why not. Just not familiar with used gun prices....originally he was going to sell it to me for $150 but I think someone talked to him...

You had better jump on it before it goes up again. If it is in good condition he could easily get $300 for it. Maybe more.

I wish I had buddies that would sell me their rifles for that kind of money.

good condition: $270. think you better jump on it and hope he does not read this board.
