Default New 223 Ultra

I have not got to shoot it yet but I traded one of my 30-06 rifles for a new NEF 223 Ultra with the 24 inch Bull Barrel. It has the cinnamon laminated stock. I have a new Scheels Hunter series 4x14 scope with sunshade on the shelf. I think I will mount that on it for starters. I also have an older Tasco Mag lV 6X24 scope that has worked well for me. That might be a good prairie dog getter.

I have one of these rifles too and I love it. I think you will be very happy with it. I plan on getting a trigger job on mine though.

The trigger is pretty darn good on this one. I think a couple hundred rounds through it and it will be perfrect. I mounted My Scheels Outfitter 4.5X14X42 scope on it. They are nice scopes and have a lifetime in store replacement warranty. I have Scheels stores all around me.

I have the Scheel's 1.5-6 x30 mm on my 7-08 they are good little scopes.
I don't have the NEF .223 but a Rossi with a bull barrel and a Tasco 6-14 x40 mm scope on it shoots great.
Have fun with the new toy.
